Overall Winner Awards
Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place overall winners both male and female in each distance triathlon. There are no cash prizes.
The top individual male & female in each event (excluding relays) will also receive a complimentary entry to next year’s race.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Masters overall to both male and females 40+ for each triathlon distance (no cash pize).
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place of each age group both males and females for each triathlon distance (age groups listed below).
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place for both Clydesdales and Athenas in each age group for each triathlon distance (39 & Under, 40 & Over).
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Awards for overall for male & female Aquabike finishers in each distance. (There are no age group winners for these events. There are no cash prizes for Aquabike events.)
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Awards overall for Relay teams (There are no age group winners for relay teams and gender make up of the teams doesn’t matter. There are no cash prizes for Relay Teams.)
Age Group Awards
The Grand Rapids Triathlon Age Group Awards are as follows:
- 19 & Under
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75-79
- 80+
*Athletes are required to race in the age group respective to their age as of 12/31/2022
